75 Years of Scully Company
75 years ago, Scully Company was a small, family-run business. Today, it is an industry-leading company that still holds onto its family-first charm.
None of Scully Company’s incredible progress would have been possible without our extraordinary employees. That’s why hundreds of employees and their families came together for a fun night to celebrate 75 years of growth, innovation, and unwavering commitment to our customers and communities.
PADELphia
Decorated with plenty of green balloons, we had the perfect location for our 75th Anniversary party at AFC Fitness in Bala Cynwyd. In addition to it being the perfect size to fit all of our employees and vendors, this location is also home to PADELphia – the area’s favorite place to play padel. Our employees loved getting on the court with family and friends and learning to play. Padel is often described as a mix between tennis, squash, and racquetball.
Food Truck Galore
What’s a party without incredible food?
Outside of AFC in the parking lot, we had four food trucks that satisfied every taste – Wokworks, Popalong, Federal Donuts, and Milk + Sugar.
- Wokworks served up healthy, vegetable-forward stir fry dishes that were packed with flavor.
- Popalong was a huge hit with children and adults alike with their homemade popsicles and ice cream.
- Federal Donuts made our mouths water with their freshly baked donuts and their famous chicken sandwiches.
- Milk + Sugar provided us with decadent cupcakes, cookies, pudding, and more. In addition to their food truck, they also made a beautiful and delicious birthday cake that everyone enjoyed.
Other Food Stands
The food options didn’t stop at the food trucks. Inside AFC, we had several more food options including Ambler Charcuterie, The Gourmet Vendor, Mac Mart, Revolution Taco, and plenty of candy.
- Ambler Charcuterie set up the most incredible spread filled with grab-and-go snacks as well as platters of cheese, meat, dried fruit, and veggies.
- The Gourmet Vendor, with their classic hot dog stand, filled our bellies with authentic and tasty hot dogs and soft pretzels.
- Mac Mart had a variety of options to enjoy from plain mac and cheese to BBQ mac and cheese to mac and cheese with spinach and artichoke.
- Revolution Taco served up their fresh, homemade tortillas, sauces, fillings, and more to add a spicy touch to the party.
- Candy and sweets – for the kids (and adults, too!), we had a fully-stocked candy counter and cotton candy machine to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth.
Games and Entertainment
In addition to the several padel courts, party attendees could also play pool, ping pong, cornhole, giant Jenga, basketball, Connect 4, and more. This was such a fun opportunity for employees and their families to engage in fun competitions with each other!
For the kids, there were even more fun games to play and things to do. The younger attendees loved playing in the bounce house, competing in the ring toss, and getting their faces painted.
In the elevated lounge area at AFC, we had a DJ playing great tunes and a dance floor to get everyone moving.
